Primary election results are forthcoming.

No candidate filed as a candidate for County Attorney. Joel Ensey won as a write-in candidate. Ensey was originally appointed as the County Attorney in January 2019 following the appointment of the previous incumbent to a judgeship.

Brown filed an affidavit to be a write-in candidate prior to the general election. One other candidate, David Graham, had also filed as a write-in candidate but neither Graham nor Brown appeared on the ballot. Pursuant to media reports, Brown received 307 votes and Graham received 136 votes.

Voracek was appointment as County Attorney in July 2019 following the previous incumbent's appointment to a judgeship. Voracek resigned in March 2022.

This was a special election for the unexpired term. Lippert was appointed prior to the 2022 election.

Local media reports indicate that Benefiel held the office of County Attorney as early as 2017.

Khuns was appointed as the County Attorney in January 2019.

Montgomery did not finish their four-term and Melissa Johnson was appointed to the position.

Johnson was appointed as the County Attorney following the resignation of the former incumbent in 2022.

David Thompson is the Interim County Attorney as of 2023.

Unable to obtain election results from the county clerk. Media reports indicate that Brandon Jones held the office until November 2018. By mid-2019, Michael Hines was the County Attorney.

Local government officials indicate that these election results are missing but social media reports indicate that Buck was the County Attorney until 2024.

Reno County comprises District 27, one of six districts in Kansas where local prosecutors are District Attorneys. Local prosecutors in the other jurisdictions are County Attorneys.

Stanton was appointed as the County Attorney in June 2020 following the retirement of the previous incumbent.

Ferrell was appointed as the County Attorney in November 2017. The 2018 election was a special election for the unexpired term.

Dalke was appointed as the County Attorney in 2018.
